Questions
What is a LinkedIn headline?
LinkedIn Help describes it as the text below your name on your profile. It's shown in search results and can be different from your current job title, so you can say what you do and for whom.
How long should my headline be?
Long enough to say what you do and for whom, short enough that the first words carry it: next to your posts and comments the headline is cut to one line. The generator shows each idea both ways.
Does it use AI or save what I type?
No. It fills a few common sentence patterns with your words, in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or saved.
What makes a good LinkedIn headline?
Your role, who you help and the result you bring, in plain words people search for. Skip buzzwords like “guru” or “ninja”, and update it when your work changes.
How do I change my headline on LinkedIn?
Open your profile, click the edit (pencil) icon in your intro, paste into the Headline field and save.
