Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains what Digiloop Ventures LLC ("we") collects when you use Proud Look, why, who helps us, and how long we keep it. The short version: we use your photos only to make your headshots, we never sell them, and we delete them after 7 days.
What we collect
- Email address, to sign you in and send your order emails.
- Photos you upload (5–8), resized on your device before upload.
- Your choices: how to describe you, outfits, glasses.
- Your consent to AI processing and the time you gave it.
- Order and payment records: amount, date, status, and Stripe reference numbers. Stripe handles your card; we never see the full card number.
- The headshots we create, plus technical settings used to make them (text description and a random number), kept so we can fix quality problems.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, for security and troubleshooting.
Biometric information
To make your headshots, our AI provider creates a model of your facial appearance from your photos. Some laws, including those in Illinois, Texas and Washington, may treat this as biometric information. We:
- collect it only with your written consent, given by checking the consent box before upload;
- use it only to create your headshots, for no other purpose;
- never sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from it;
- permanently destroy it, along with your photos and headshots, 7 days after your headshots are ready, or immediately when you click "Delete everything now", and in any case within 30 days of your last interaction with us;
- protect it with reasonable security, at least as carefully as other sensitive data.
[Lawyer: confirm wording against BIPA, CUBI, and Washington RCW 19.375 requirements.]
How we use your information
- to create and deliver your headshots;
- to sign you in, take payment, process refunds and answer your emails;
- to fix problems with an order, for example a failed or poor-quality result;
- to prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not use your photos or headshots for advertising or to train AI models for other customers, and we don't sell or "share" personal information as defined by California law.
Who helps us (service providers)
These companies process data for us, only to provide the service:
- Supabase: sign-in, database and private file storage.
- fal.ai: runs the AI that learns your appearance and creates the headshots.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: sending emails.
- Vercel: hosting the website.
We ask fal.ai to delete its copies of your files when we delete ours. Some providers may keep limited records, such as payment records at Stripe, as required by law. [Lawyer: confirm data processing terms with each provider.]
How long we keep it
- Photos, AI model and headshots: deleted 7 days after your headshots are ready, or sooner if you ask.
- Photos from orders that were never paid for: deleted after 7 days.
- Order and payment records: kept as long as required for tax and accounting.
- Your account (email address): until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your photos, model and headshots at any time with "Delete everything now". You can also email us to access, correct or delete your information, including your account. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we honor them and won't treat you differently for using them.
Children
The service is only for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from or about children, and we delete any we discover.
Security
Photos and headshots are stored in private storage that only you (and our support team, when needed to help you) can access, using links that expire. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we keep and how long we keep it.
Changes and contact
We'll update the date above when this policy changes. Questions or requests: email support@proudlook.com.
