Download and print your passport photo
You get two files: a digital photo for online forms, and a 4×6 sheet to print at a pharmacy.
Updated
- Step 1: Open the email “Your passport photo is ready”. Both files are attached, and Open my download page takes you to them.
- Step 2: For online passport renewal or the DS-160 visa form: tap Download digital photo and upload that file as it is. Don't crop or edit it.
- Step 3: For a paper form: tap Download print sheet. Upload it to CVS Photo, Walgreens Photo or Walmart Photo (the download page links to each) and order one 4×6 print for store pickup.
- Step 4: If the store asks, choose actual size or no cropping. Then cut along the marks: the sheet has two 2×2 inch photos.
Good to know
- The files stay on your download page for 7 days; after that, use the copies attached to the email. Keep the email.
- Only use official .gov sites for the application itself: government fees are paid there, never to us. Your download page links to them.
